As the largest global survey of CLOs, the report includes an executive summary, key findings, demographics, a profile of who is serving in the CLO role today, data reporting on staffing, budgeting and compensation, and a snapshot of law departments in a variety of settings. Notable findings identified in the report reflect trends in the areas of:

<h3>Ethics and Compliance </h3>
<p>87% of respondents believe this to be an increasingly important issue for the CLO community and other legal professionals. </p>

<h3>Regulatory and Governmental Changes </h3>
<p>More than 80% have named this as one of the leading challenges, a more than 30% increase over 2011. </p>

<h3>Reducing Outside Legal Costs</h3>
<p>More than 75% of CLOs use outside counsel spending as a method of evaluating success.</p>

<h3>The Pro Bono Element</h3>
<p>This year's survey revealed that 95% of respondents do not have a formal pro bono program.</p>
