Overview (Program Summary)
An attorney's role in the courtroom is to educate and persuade the jury, but many forget a key component of that effort: the creation and strategic deployment of graphics and images. Using words and pictures rather than just words alone has been shown to result in approximately five times the recall in audiences. Leveraging the panel’s experience creating demonstratives to educate juries during high-stakes trials, this session will discuss how to use graphics to advance an argument, common pitfalls to avoid, and principles of effective graphical communication.
