Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Northeast

Even the best-laid business deals can unravel - sometimes quickly, and often expensively.  In this discussion, attorneys from McLane Middleton’s litigation and corporate teams will be joined by experienced in-house counsel to explore what happens when complex commercial contracts lead to high-stakes disputes.

Drawing on real-world examples, the panel will address the following:

  • Common points of failure in agreements;
  • Key provisions that lead to disputes;
  • Litigation strategies from both plaintiff and defense perspectives;
  • Key considerations for in-house counsel at every stage - from contract negotiation and risk mitigation to dispute resolution and trial;
  • How to guide your business partners when you continue to do business with your “opponent”.

Join attorneys, Kimberly Kramer, Director of McLane Middleton's Corporate Department, along with Steve Dutton, Director of McLane Middleton's Litigation Department, as they walk us through these scenarios.  Rounding out the panel will be ACC Northeast member Julianna Hanlon, Senior Attorney at Mass General Brigham.

Attendees will gain practical insight into protecting their organizations and managing exposure when a deal goes off the rails.

Register below.  This informative program will be followed by a networking reception.
