Overview (Program Summary)
As the Trump administration considers whether and how to modify the U.S. federal approach to PFAS, state legislatures and regulators are plowing forward. States are also increasing focus on other emerging contaminants like microplastics and 1,4-dioxane. Principal Nessa Coppinger (Washington, DC) will discuss ways to keep track of developments and engage with regulators, as well as considerations for managing the intersection between compliance with changing regulatory environments and litigation risk from motivated plaintiffs.
