Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC NortheastArtificial Intelligence is playing an ever-increasing role in American business life, and the legal profession is no exception. As the technology becomes more widespread, the risks of using AI without proper guardrails are becoming clearer by the week. AI is raising concerns about accuracy of work product, exposure to hackers, and inadvertent disclosure of private information. Courts are showing very limited tolerance for the misuse of AI, and privacy laws in many states present significant risks for unwary GCs, law departments, and private law firms.
Jim Haug, DRM's General Counsel, will discuss these issues with ACC Northeast members and in-house counsel guests. Jim's practice has focused on legal ethics and professional responsibility since 1992, giving him a unique perspective on the issues that he will be analyzing.
