Overview (Program Summary)

In the current environment, government raids or surprise inspections are not a question of if, but when. In this panel, we’ll explore how companies should prepare for dawn raids and onsite government inspections. First, we’ll explore how the government has carried out raids in the US as compared to outside the US. Next, we’ll focus on compliance program essentials in preparing for and handling such events: having easy-to-understand policies and procedures, practical training, and focused communications. We’ll discuss simulated raids that illustrate what to do while the government is onsite and what to do after they leave. Finally, we’ll share thoughts on planning for evolving risks in this area.
