Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Southern California

As usual, California has enacted several new employment laws that employers need to know. These include paid family leave benefits for “designated persons,”, updates on job posting requirements, expansion of the status of limitations for pay discrimination claims, changes in Cal WARN notices, regulations regarding AI in the workplace, prohibition on “stay-or-pay” agreements and more. We will also look at recent agency and judicial developments that will impact California and other employers in the coming year.

Join Cozen O’Connor for our annual review of employment law developments affecting California employers. We will discuss new laws scheduled to take effect in 2026, review key U.S. Supreme Court and California court rulings, and cover best practices to help prepare your organization for employment law compliance in the new year and beyond.
