Overview (Program Summary)

ACC Northeast OhioDuring this 2.0 CLE credit program, presenters will cover three topics of particular interest to in-house counsel:
- M&A Financial Provisions: This program will examine key financial elements in mergers and acquisitions, focusing on earnouts, working capital adjustments, and indemnification provisions. The speakers will highlight common issues and how these mechanisms allocate risk between buyers and sellers.
- AI and IP: The presenter will explore how artificial intelligence is transforming intellectual property law, including the challenges and opportunities related to freedom to operate, portfolio development, and due diligence in IP and AI-driven transactions.
- The Roberts Court and Business Law: This session will analyze the U.S. Supreme Court under Chief Justice John Roberts, focusing on its influence on business law. The presenter will cover the Court’s judicial philosophies and direction in business-related rulings, with insights into future litigation and regulation.
Total CLE credit: 2.0 hours
