Virtual

Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC St. Louis

Join the ACC St Louis Litigation PAN and Ogletree Deakins for a virtual program "Practical Steps for Navigating a New Federal Enforcement Era:  Building Legally Defensible Employment Decisions" on Wednesday, November 5th via Zoom.

As the EEOC and other federal agencies intensify enforcement efforts, employers are seeing a resurgence of litigation over hiring, promotion, and pay practices.

This session will explore how recent cases underscore the importance of data-driven compliance and proactive risk mitigation.

Attendees will gain practical guidance on:

  • Building legally defensible employment decisions through privileged, attorney-directed bias testing,
  • Root-cause analysis, and
  • Structured decision-making.

Learn how these tools can be used not only to improve fairness and consistency but also to strengthen litigation posture and reduce exposure across the employment lifecycle—from sourcing and selection to performance evaluation, compensation, and termination.
