ACC CharlotteIn the past year, Congress passed the PUMP Act and the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, and the Supreme Court issued its decision in Groff v. DeJoy on religious accommodations. To make matters more confusing, a Texas District Court Judge partially blocked the PWFA. We will discuss the challenges ahead and provide practical tips on how to manage accommodation requests going forward and how to comply with changes in the law relating to pregnancy accommodations and religious accommodations in light of the new federal statutes and Supreme Court precedent.
