Understanding and Eliminating Bias: Bias, both conscious and unconscious, have resulted in disparate outcomes for women and people of color. Growing demands for corporate Economic Social and Governance (ESG) accountability have pushed businesses to look for ways to understand and mitigate bias-related challenges. In addition, recent court cases regarding diversity programs in higher education have created uncertainty around affirmative diversity programs undertaken by businesses.
