Overview (Program Summary)
The use of artificial intelligence and machine learning is revolutionizing the healthcare sector by changing the way to diagnosis and treat conditions and develop and market new drugs. In this session, we will discuss the impact of FDA regulations and privacy and security laws on the use and development of AI/ML solutions, including a discussion of how to overcome legal challenges in generating real world evidence and data using AI/ML. We will also discuss the ethical use of AI and examine emerging legislative trends in the regulation of AI.
