Overview (Program Summary)
With the effective date of the California Privacy Rights Act fast approaching, this program will focus on the practical “dos and don’ts” of preparing for CPRA compliance. From an overview of the requirements to the impact of these new requirements from the perspective of both consumer-facing companies and business-facing service providers, this program is designed to give a practical guide to understanding the CPRA and how best to operationalize its requirements into your company's privacy program. The experts on this panel are Michael Egan, Partner in the cyber/data/privacy practice at Cooley LLP, Mary Ann Le Fort, Chief Privacy Officer at Priceline.com, and Karen Moore, Chief Compliance Officer at Unisys Corporation. Each panelist will bring their expertise and viewpoints to bear on these new and challenging requirements.
