June ACC CLE: Employment Law Happenings

As focus shifts away from COVID-19, companies now confront a changed legal landscape under the employee-friendly Biden Administration with a noted uptick in the aggressiveness of various federal agencies.  The NLRB, EEOC, and DOL announced their intention to team up in combatting retaliation against employees, while the DOJ and FTC are targeting restrictive covenants, wage theft and misclassification cases. In addition to reviewing agency developments, Ogletree attorneys Larry Smith and Tiffany Cox Stacy will provide an update on key employment law developments both at the federal and state level, including issues of sexual harassment, arbitration agreements, and pay equity/transparency, as well as on recent court decisions.
