This panel will discuss important US and UK enforcement trends and compliance developments, such as:
- The UK’s recent Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill
- The EU Whistleblower Directive
- US regulator focus on corruption and curbing illicit finance, controls, ephemeral messaging, individual accountability and CCO certifications
This discussion will be led by DLA Piper’s Chicago partners Jon King (Co-chair, Global Investigations, and a former Assistant US Attorney) and Katie Hausfeld (Co-Chair, Global Communications), featuring special guests Patrick Rappo (Global Co-Chair, Investigations and Compliance, and the former Head of the Bribery & Corruption Divisions at the UK Serious Fraud Office) from DLA Piper’s London office and Mike Skopets, Associate General Counsel/ Legal – Ethics & Compliance, Baxter.
