Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Australia

In this practical session, senior consultants David Lennane and John Gelagin from InfluenceConsulting will take participants through an introduction to influencing over zoom and other online platforms. This is a critical but often challenging skill in today's pandemic-driven world, and more and more in-house counsel and other advisors are struggling to get traction with their teams, managers and other stakeholders in a virtual environment. David and John will run through a typical, everyday scenario faced by inhouse counsel and will work step-by-step through the influencing process, to demonstrate how you can communicate opportunities and problems, achieve buy-in for the answers to these situations, and manage questions, objections and misunderstandings along the way. This one hour session serves as an initial introduction to further influencing programs, which we will be offering to ACC members in 2022.
