Program Description:  Learn practical and effective tips for designing and conducting appropriate, lawful, and effective workplace investigations. The program will also address whether the attorney-client privilege can or should be applied to the investigation.

 Discussion Topics and Objectives include:  

• Identifying Why/When an Internal Investigation is Important (15 minutes)
• Tailoring the Workplace Investigation to Fit Your Needs (15 minutes)
• Conducting Interviews and Responding to Complications (15 minutes)
• Privilege Issues and some Practical Examples (15 minutes)
• Finalizing the Investigation and Avoiding Retaliation Claims (15 minutes)
