Legal risks, data breach exposure, and e-discovery costs have propelled records retention from the back burner to a red-hot issue for both legal and IT. This session will cover:
• Evaluating the legal and business risks caused by retaining too much information for too long
• Managing information from new collaboration platforms, like Teams, Slack and Zoom
• Developing retention policies and programs and utilizing best practices for all records and information
• Cleaning up the mess and developing an ongoing strategy for new data
• Minimizing legal and business risks and costs of old data remediation
• Overcoming cultural challenges
