ACC National Capital RegionThe challenging issues of leave and accommodation requests are now more difficult than ever, given remote and hybrid work environments. This panel will explore several of the challenges of responding to repeated requests for leave or accommodation, handling poor performers taking leave in anticipation of corrective action, and adequately tracking leave benefits.
The panel also will discuss concerns posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, including addressing employees who abuse COVID-19-related leave, who refuse to be vaccinated, or who request special treatment in a remote or hybrid work environment.
Finally, the panel will discuss how to best mitigate the risk of retaliation, as well as best practices for protecting your company.
