Join us to discuss blocks and avenues to equity and inclusion in the workplace and in the profession through exploring bias, imposter syndrome, in-group/out-group and allyship. We’ll discuss how these concepts can start to widen the dialogue and allow for change in the workplace. We’ll talk about what these topics mean, discuss how they show up and consider some tools and strategies to take to your workplace.
Program Outline:
- Introduction of Inclusion and Equity/Exploring Bias (20 minutes)
- Imposter Syndrome/In-Group/Out-Group/Allyship (20 minutes)
- Tools and Strategies for the Workplace/Q & A (20 minutes)
We encourage members to bring an associate or colleague that may be interested in joining the ACC Mid-America Chapter. The Association of Corporate Counsel offers numerous benefits and resources to in-house counsel including CLE offerings and networking opportunities and we look forward to sharing that information with others in the field.
