ACC ChicagoACC Chicago is happy to continue our new initiative called Practice Group Roundtables. These programs give those who are interested in a particular practice area a chance to discuss topics of interest to that practice in an intimate small group session. Seats will be limited so we ask that you register only if you are intentional about attending. There is no CLE credit for these chats. Our next Roundtable topic will be an interactive discussion about U.S. Trade Policy, Export Controls, and Import Laws In our interactive discussion, we plan to cover:
- Update on current import and trade activities by the Trump Administration
- Recent changes to sanctions on China, Russia, and Iran and what they mean for U.S. companies and investors
- New U.S. export controls on emerging and foundational technologies
- The legislative and policy outlook "Inside the Beltway" for the remainder of 2019
