When handled well, mediation can be an effective, efficient, and inexpensive way to resolve litigation. The panel will explore tips for enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of mediation, with resulting cost-efficiencies, by examining topics such as: timing of the mediation; selection of the mediator; written mediation submissions to aid the mediator and advance your client's position; maximizing use of joint sessions and private sessions; and tips to avoid or break an impasse, in order to get the deal done.
