The ACC Singapore Chapter are proud to be supporting the Law Society Pro Bono Services annual fundraiser: 'Just Makan - Justice is Served' on Friday 29th March.
In keeping with the spirit of Just Walk (2015), Just Sing (2016) and Just Jubilee (2017) Just Makan: Justice is Served fundraising dinner serves as a platform for uniting both the legal fraternity and the community in promoting legal awareness and access to justice, under the banner of the 'Justice for All' project.
Today, with a staff strength of close to 30, some 10,000 persons are provided critical legal awareness, advice or aid every year.
This is only made possible through the unstinting efforts of our volunteer lawyers, supported by the LSPBS which provides coordination, means testing, capacity building, training and public legal education support.
We believe that these efforts contribute to making Singapore a more compassionate, inclusive and empathetic society. Our aspiration is that our world-class justice system should never leave anyone behind
Our key event for 2019 is the "Just Makan: Justice is Served" fundraising dinner which will be held on 29 March 2019 at the Fullerton Hotel. The dinner will feature a specially curated menu with an access to justice theme as well as entertaining performances.
We believe that our criminal and civil justice system, which is foundational to the healthy functioning of our society, can only work when all who need to use it, have access to adequate legal representation and advice. Our mission is to ensure that no person is left alone and adrift in the justice system.

Funds raised from the event will go towards the Pro Bono arena to better reach out to the community in need of legal assistance but limited in their means to afford legal fees. Just Makan aims to raise enough funds so that help can be maximized for those most in need in the community.
All donations qualify for a 250% tax deduction. Law Society Pro Bono Services is a registered Charity and Institution of a Public Character.
