Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Chicago

The world around us is rapidly changing – from the way we consume media to the way we communicate daily. The expectations of in-house attorneys and outside lawyers are also evolving, and to keep up with those expectations, our roles should evolve too. By integrating human-centered legal design thinking, we can communicate more simply and powerfully.

Frustrated with missed messaging? Tired of re-explaining simple concepts? Fed up with ignored guidelines? Then don’t miss this lunch session. We will discuss why encouraging lawyers to “think like designers” could revolutionize the way in-house lawyers and outside counsel communicate ideas, expectations and more. The session will feature a panel of in-house lawyers and outside counsel, and a small workshop aimed at “showing” the impact of design principles in otherwise ordinary communications. Together, we’ll demonstrate the impact of making the ordinary – extraordinary!
