The European Union's (EU) General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) establish more onerous requirements for companies that handle personal data of EU citizens. The regulations cover customer information, marketing, employee, vendor and other business partner data. New data privacy rules are being passed across the United States, and authorities are becoming creative in enforcing the security of individuals' personal data. The consequences of non-compliance can be massive. This presentation will cover the complex compliance responsibilities.
