In the past year, there have been several major developments regarding the issue of workplace drug testing, an issue that is of critical importance to a wide range of employers. During this comprehensive and practical update session, we will discuss the new statutory and regulatory landscape regarding workplace drug testing, including key changes from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and other significant developments with marijuana in the workplace. Join us as we address how to navigate this ever-changing legal landscape.

September is ACC’s Global Community Service month. This year the West Tennessee section of our chapter will be supporting Memphis Area Legal Services. The mission of Memphis Area Legal Services (“MALS”) is to provide excellence in legal advocacy for those in need.  More information about Memphis Area Legal Services may be found on its website. http://www.malsi.org/

Please consider supporting Memphis Area Legal Services by bringing a MALS “wish list” item to our September 18th CLE. ACC TN will collect office supplies such as pens, color paper, copy paper, clip boards, dry erase markers, and notepads at the Memphis, September 18th CLE. The items will be utilized in the legal advice clinics which serve 100-150 people each month at various clinic locations in the Memphis area.

If you are interested in pro bono opportunities with MALS, please click here to review the areas of need.
