Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC San Antonio

Please join us on December 5, 2018 for our next CLE Express luncheon at The Plaza Club for a presentation entitled: “The Updated Legal Department Maturity Model.” In-house attorneys make many decisions every day – some very tactical in nature and some more strategic. This includes decisions that affect legal outcomes, corporate reputations, and the P&L of your organizations. At the same time, most legal departments are quite lean and are being asked to operate at the speed of the business, and the result is often that decisions that get made are less than optimal. There is room to improve decision making, and though we may strive, it is possible we will never reach optimal in all categories of decision making. This session is to encourage thinking about how better-informed decisions could specifically improve the business and explore even the small ways that each role in the department could participate. With the right planning and analysis, you can substantially improve your confidence that the decisions being made are the best ones for your organizations.

Please email southcentraltx@accglobal.com or the presenters below with any specific, topic-related questions you would like to have addressed at the presentation. Feel free to invite individuals from your company who are not attorneys, but may benefit from learning more about this subject!

Your RSVP counts! While we understand that unexpected matters arise that prevent attendance, absences (no-shows) do have a financial impact on our chapter. If you have registered but cannot attend and cannot send someone in your place, please contact Amber Clark by email at southcentraltx@accglobal.com. Likewise, if you did not RSVP but decide to attend at the last minute, please try to let Amber know ahead of time so that we can make arrangements to have enough seating! Walk-ins who do not give advance notice cannot be guaranteed seating.
