Equity, Diversity & Inclusion - We are on a Journey! Join Us!

ACC Europe's mission is to promote the interests of in-house counsel in Europe. This means all in-house counsel.  We are inclusive as an organisation.  We believe in creating inclusive environments at work.  We celebrate diverse perspectives and backgrounds.  We are committed to informing our members about inequities in our profession and the value of inclusive workplaces.  We will act to grow our network, resources and tools to help in-house counsel thrive in their careers and to ensure our profession is welcoming and accessible to all.

The Working Group on Equity, Diversity and Inclusion was formed in 2021.  Chaired by Board member, Kimberly Nuzum, Deputy General Counsel, Publicis Groupe, and includes 8 members all of whom share a genuine passion, interest and desire to advance ED&I within the in-house legal profession and wider community.  A full list of members can be found here

The group has agreed its activities as:

  • Education regarding the need for ED&I in Europe;
  • Perception of the value of ED&I to businesses in Europe;
  • Behaviours and steps in-house lawyers can take to further ED&I in their workplaces.

The Group is pleased to share resources and best practices and would encourage you to keep checking back as new resources are added.
