ACC honored outstanding members, chapters, and networks at its Leadership Awards Program at the 2018 ACC Annual Meeting.

WASHINGTON (October 22, 2018) — The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC), a global legal association representing more than 43,000 members in 85 countries, recognized members, chapters, and networks demonstrating outstanding leadership, service, and a strong commitment to the in-house counsel community this week during the 2018 ACC Annual Meeting in Austin, Texas.

ACC President and CEO Veta T. Richardson presented the following honors with 2019 ACC Global Board of Directors Chair Simon Fish (executive vice president & general counsel, Bank of Montreal) at the Annual Meeting Leadership Awards Ceremony on October 21:

  • Robert I. Townsend, Jr. Member of the Year Award: Stephen Roth, vice president & general counsel, Jewelry Television
  • Jonathan S. Silber Network Member of the Year Award: Sherie Edwards, vice president, corporate and legal, State Volunteer Mutual Insurance Company (Small Law Department Network)
