The Shifting Landscape in Pricing, Advertising, HR, and Antitrust Enforcement

A host of new FTC rules and case developments mean companies must adjust their practices when it comes to pricing policy and competitive intelligence, hiring, non-compete agreements, and online presence. Regulators and the plaintiffs’ bar have been increasingly active in targeting companies who are not up-to-date in these areas, and in many cases are referencing publicly available information from websites and other online sources to provide fodder for their claims.

This two-hour CLE will cover recent developments in algorithmic pricing and competitive intelligence, false advertising cases, and the state of play at the interface of antitrust rules and hiring and employee non-competes. The panel will provide practical tips and a checklist for in-house lawyers that can be used to review and update company policies in these areas.

Speakers: Joanna Rosen Forster, Partner, Crowell & Moring LLP; Jason C. Murray, Partner, Crowell & Moring LLP; Deborah E. Arbabi, Partner, Crowell & Moring LLP
