Big Changes to Minnesota’s Employment Laws: Hot Topics and Trends to Watch

It was a busy year for the Minnesota legislature! The legislature passed sweeping laws that have a significant impact on Minnesota employers in a variety of ways. Among other things, this legislative session created state-wide paid sick and safe time obligations, rendered non-compete agreements in Minnesota unenforceable, created additional paystub requirements, and increased protections for pregnant workers. If you need guidance for how to navigate these sweeping changes, or if you’re simply hoping to be sure you haven’t missed anything, join us! Littler attorneys Claire Deason and Emily McNee will provide guidance on how employers should prepare for compliance with these new laws as well as trends to watch into 2024.

AGENDA
3:45 PM - 4:15 PM | Attendee check-in and beverage orders
4:15 PM - 5:15 PM | CLE program
5:15 PM - 6:15 PM | Happy hour

Admission is free and open to ACC members (and to in-house counsel first-time guests). 1.0 Standard CLE credit is pending in Minnesota.

Convenient free parking abounds in the lot outside the program's venue, Jimmy's Kitchen and Bar in Minnetonka.
