Join the ACC Foundation and the American Bar Association as we explore the results of the American Bar Association’s “Legal Careers of Parents and Child Caregivers” report. The report, commissioned by the ABA’s Commission on Women in the Profession and based on survey responses from more than 8,000 lawyers nationwide in various work settings (including in-house) reveals their feelings regarding the impact having children has had on their careers. This webinar will highlight key data points from the survey and feature a discussion with in-house women parents on their career journeys, challenges faced, lessons learned, and strategies to success despite these barriers and biases.

Please join ACC NCR and the Washington Council of Lawyers for a Virtual Pro Bono Fair. In 2022 the ACC Foundation launched the DEI Maturity Assessment (powered by Ethisphere), allowing organizations to pinpoint where they are in their DEI journey, benchmark them against their corporate peers, and chart paths to increased DEI success with the ultimate goal of increasing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across the legal profession. The ACC Foundation DEI Vanguard Award was created to honor organizations that have demonstrated their commitment to and impact on legal diversity by completing the assessment and scoring within the top 15% of respondents.

Join us as we host a virtual conversation with the 2024 ACC Foundation DEI Vanguard Award winners. Learn how they’ve developed effective plans for DEI success, challenges they’ve faced along they way and strategies to overcome them, how their commitment to diversity has impacted their organizations, and where their DEI journey is taking them in the future.

The ACCHK Board is pleased to invite members to a fireside chat on Wednesday 13th March at 6:30pm with Mr. Kit Wilson, Head of Enforcement at SFC, and Mr. Jon Witts, Head of Enforcement at HKEX. Please come join us for an engaging discussion on enforcement, corporate governance, and compliance culture.
