A certified coach, Sheila specializes in helping legal professionals become unstoppable forces in their fields. Before founding Focus Forward Consulting, Sheila served as Senior Vice President and Associate General Counsel at MetLife and practiced law at prominent firms.
A passionate advocate for women in leadership, Sheila has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Women Lawyers, the advisory board of Transforming Women’s Leadership in Law, and as co-chair of CARE’s Women’s Network of New York.
Sheila’s accolades include the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award from Corporate Counsel’s Women, Influence, Power in Law program, the 2010 Highest Leaf Award from the Women’s Venture Fund, and recognition as a Leading Women Lawyer in NYC by Crain's New York Business.
