We are thrilled to announce our keynote speakers for the 2023 ACC Australia In-house Legal National Conference. Joining us this year we have journalist, author, filmmaker and presenter, Professor Stan Grant; Chelsea Pottenger, who is a leading authority on productivity, mindfulness and wellbeing; and investor, advisor, and explorer, Gus Balbontin.

Join us at the National Convention Centre Canberra from 29 to 31 October to explore, where in-house meets innovation. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear these world class speakers share their unique experiences and profound knowledge.

Stan Grant Stan Grant | Journalist, Author, Filmmaker, Presenter

Stan is one of Australia's most respected and awarded journalists, with more than 30 years’ experience in radio and television news and current affairs. Stan has a strong reputation for independence and integrity and has interviewed international political and business leaders, including our own prime ministers and senior ministers.

He was formerly ABC's Global Affairs and Indigenous Affairs Analyst and host of Q&A. A Wiradjuri man, Stan is an enormously accomplished journalist, author, filmmaker and presenter, who has won three Walkley awards, a Peabody in the US, and an AACTA Award for the Adam Goodes documentary The Australian Dream, which grew out of an oration he gave in early 2016.
Chelsea Pottenger Chelsea Pottenger | Leading authority on productivity, mindfulness & wellbeing

For 12-years Chelsea was known for her extraordinary work ethic and as a high performer she delivered results for a variety of big name organisations. Then in 2015, Chelsea experienced debilitating Post-Natal Depression, which sent her spiralling to the lower depths of mental health. With determination, help and resilience Chelsea bounced back with a new purpose, passion and education.

In Chelsea’s session be prepared to laugh, learn, grow and walk away with some lifechanging tools to help them become more successful, more energised and most importantly more able to tackle any challenge life throws at you!
Gus Balbontin Gus Balbontin | Investor, Advisor, Explorer

Seeking a change from corporate life, Gus hung up his boots as Executive Director and CTO of Lonely Planet and decided to move back to his entrepreneurial roots, becoming an investor, founder and mentor across the start-up ecosystem in Melbourne. Over the last 3 years, Gus has presented around the world. The simplicity of his message and his counterintuitive way of looking at the world will motivate you to do things differently.

Often thought of as a futurist, not because he predicts the future or makes predictions about living in a world run by AI, but because he helps you focus on what you can control to deal with any future. You will be blown away by Gus’ powerful perspectives and candid stories. Gain new ways of expressing and communicating with each other and acting on the challenges we all face in business today.

Secure your spot today by purchasing an early Early Bird Special ticket while they are still available. We can't wait to see you there!
