Karen has over 20 years of experience working as a senior lawyer and in-house counsel within the mining, energy, and infrastructure sector. She is commercially focused and specialises in managing legal risk, translating detailed regulatory and contractual requirements into business-friendly processes and systems.
In addition to Karen’s legal career, she loves a good challenge – whether it is to improve the younger professionals’ self-esteem, advocating for the rights of people with disability, or being a model mum who juggles having a professional career whilst caring for the family.
Karen is a past President of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Australia and still serves as a committee member for the ACC’s Queensland Chapter.
