Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC San Diego

Artificial intelligence has been integrated into industries such as healthcare for several years, and litigation involving AI-related injuries is beginning to emerge. While cases alleging AI errors remain relatively rare, largely due to limited familiarity among plaintiff’s counsel. This landscape is rapidly changing.

In this session, attorney Matthew P. Keris of Marshall Dennehey will guide participants through the challenges of preparing for the anticipated wave of invasive, weaponized discovery tactics. Attendees will gain insight into:

  • The types of novel discovery requests likely to arise in AI-related cases
  • Potential objections and strategies for responding effectively
  • Proactive ways to involve AI vendors in litigation preparation

This webinar is designed to help legal professionals anticipate and plan for the unique discovery issues posed by AI, ensuring they are ready to respond with confidence.
