Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC ConnecticutACC-CT members are encouraged to become involved with pro bono opportunities in Connecticut. Please join us to learn more about how attorneys can engage with meaningful service opportunities through the CBA’s Access to Justice programs.
Join us for a lunchtime presentation from Song Kim, the Director of Access to Justice and Equity at the Connecticut Bar Association, on the CBA’s Access to Justice programs and how they connect attorneys with meaningful opportunities to serve their communities.
The CBA offers a range of initiatives designed to meet both attorneys and members of the public where they are — including Free Legal Answers, an online platform where attorneys can respond to legal questions on their own schedule; virtual Free Legal Clinics, which bring legal guidance directly to those who may have difficulty accessing traditional in-person services; and Lawyers in Libraries, a program that places attorneys in familiar, welcoming community spaces to provide free legal assistance.
Whether you're new to pro bono or looking to deepen your commitment, this is a great opportunity to learn how the CBA is bridging barriers to justice across Connecticut.
