IN-PERSON Pro Bono Clinic: Advice and Referral (walk-in clinic) with DC Bar Pro Bono Center

The DC Bar Pro Bono Center is hosting a Advice & Referral Clinic to give D.C. residents without lawyers the chance to meet with volunteer attorneys for brief legal advice and services on a wide range of civil legal issues. Join fellow volunteers for coffee and conversation then head over to the clinic together!

Topic: Advice and referral
Clients: DC residents experiencing civil legal issues.
When: Saturday, May 30, 2026. Coffee meet up at 8:00 AM. Orientation at 9:15 AM and clinic runs from 10:00 AM until early afternoon (flexible timing); breakfast and lunch provided
Where: Meet for coffee at Joe & The Juice, 401 K St., NW at 8am; clinic is at DC Bar headquarters- 901 4^th St, Washington, DC.
Who: In-house attorneys.
Experience: None required.
Training: Orientation and training onsite.
Support: Law students assist with client intake. Mentor attorneys are available in every practice area for support.
Time: This is a brief advice clinic. Volunteers are not expected to provide ongoing representation.
Work: Brief legal advice and services on a wide range of civil legal issues.
Insurance: Provided by DC Bar Pro Bono Center to all volunteers.
