Overview (Program Summary)

A program hosted by:

ACC Greater Philadelphia

ACCGP's GC/CLO Lunch Club is a non-sponsored chapter event to allow GCs and CLOs to have an open discussion on a relevant topic. The discussion is geared to attorneys at the GC/CLO level.

This roundtable discussion, moderated by Julie Laine and Adesola Adegbesan, will explore the nuances of how generational differences may impact managing an in-house law department.  We will discuss the various motivations, communication styles, world views, and perspectives of different generations of legal professionals given that, in many cases, younger attorneys and staff in law departments are managed by and/or work with attorneys and other colleagues of different generations, which can affect working relationships and ways of working, either directly or indirectly. No matter what industry or area of the law your focus is, the businesses and clients we serve require constant interaction with people of varied generations. This discussion will address practical questions and dissect the challenges GCs and CLOs may face with balancing generational desires and norms with the need to effectively manage and lead their teams.

Please note, no CLE credit will be provided for this program.
