Overview (Program Summary)
A program hosted by:
ACC SingaporeFollowing the success of our GC Breakfast Series, we are pleased to introduce a similar format open to all ACC Singapore members, creating an opportunity for more in-house lawyers to take part in these conversations.
The series is designed to provide an intimate and engaging setting for the exchange of ideas, with each session moderated by ACC Singapore board members and limited to 8-10 participants to encourage meaningful discussion.
This first session will focus on how we’re actually using generative AI (or not), policy guardrails, hallucination risks, confidentiality, and whether in-house counsel should lean in or be cautious.
- What are we actually using it for?
(Contract review? First-draft emails? Research? Board summaries? Where does it add value vs. create rework?
Where is the red line?) - What types of documents or data should never go into external AI tools? How do we handle confidential or privileged material? (Who owns the AI policy — Legal, IT, Compliance?)
- Are we gatekeepers, collaborators, or blockers? (Accuracy vs. efficiency trade-off)
- How much verification is enough? When does using AI take longer than doing it yourself?
To encourage open discussion, the Chatham House Rule will apply.
