Intellectual property is often among a company’s most valuable assets—and also one of its most vulnerable. In-house counsel must balance protecting innovation with managing litigation risk, controlling legal budgets, and supporting business growth.
This CLE program will examine the most important recent developments in intellectual property law and litigation from the perspective of corporate legal departments. Topics will include patent eligibility trends, evolving trademark enforcement challenges in digital markets, copyright issues surrounding artificial intelligence, and trade secret protection in an era of increased employee mobility.
The session will also provide practical strategies for in-house counsel to manage intellectual property risk, oversee litigation effectively, and partner with outside counsel to protect company assets.
