ACC National Capital RegionIn honor of Black History Month, the Black & African-American Affinity Group is pleased to invite you to join us for a special in-person meet-up at the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
We will start the day with lunch at 1:30PM in the Sweet Home Café which is located within the museum. Following the lunch, we will explore the museum’s general exhibits, as well as a new special exhibition, "At the Vanguard: Making and Saving History at HBCUs", which honors the enduring legacy, impact, and preservation efforts of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. This gathering will offer an opportunity to connect in community while engaging with the museum’s powerful and inspiring collections. To ensure a smooth experience and help manage crowds, free timed-entry passes have been secured for our group.
We hope you will join us for this meaningful and enriching Black History Month experience. We look forward to spending time together.
Each attendee will be responsible for the cost of their lunch.
