Early Case Assessment – A Practical Framework for In House Counsel
When legal claims arise, in-house counsel are often the first—and sometimes only—line of defense responsible for determining the scope, severity, and strategic implications of potential disputes. An effective Early Case Assessment process allows corporate legal teams to quickly evaluate risks, make informed decisions, and position the organization for efficient and cost effective resolution.
This program equips in-house counsel with a practical, repeatable framework to bring structure, clarity, and strategic foresight to the earliest stages of a dispute. Participants will learn how to rapidly gather the right information, evaluate legal and financial exposure, manage privilege concerns, and determine when outside resources should be engaged.
