Fiona Stapleton, Special Counsel, Thomson Geer

Fiona specialises in providing advice on federal, state and international tax law, corporations law, charities law and regulatory matters.

Fiona advises a broad range of clients, such as private and public companies, high net worth individuals and families and government and not-for-profit entities, on various transactions and issues, including pre and post-acquisition restructures, structuring, mergers, acquisitions and divestments, ESOPs and other employee incentive arrangements, inbound and outbound investment structures and residency.

Fiona places emphasis on working closely with clients to understand their commercial issues and objectives in order to deliver the right outcomes.

In addition to her tax-related qualifications, Fiona has completed a Masters of Management through Harvard University Extension School to further her business and commercial expertise and to be better placed to understand and service clients' needs.  


Ian

Ian Shuttleworth, EGM Media & Communications, Adelaide Football Club

Ian is an experienced executive with more than two decades of media and sports industry knowledge and leads the Adelaide Football Club's Media and Communications operations.

Ian has an in-depth understanding of media and crisis management, with extensive experience managing crises across various sectors and industries. He also has an understanding of brand protection and public relations, stakeholder relations, digital and broadcast media, content creation and distribution, and social media platforms.

As a former multi-award-winning journalist, Ian has vast television and radio experience across on-air and leadership roles in Australia and abroad for Network Ten and DMG Radio Australia (now NOVA Entertainment).
