India is rapidly updating its tech rulebook which includes the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, cyber security directions, AI guidelines, sectoral norms and a new telecom framework. This session focuses on the India & MNC regulatory interface and what global privacy, artificial intelligence, legal and compliance teams must operationalise now. We will cover important data compliances, incident-reporting triggers and their interface with penal laws, new cyber security requirements under telecom laws and its implication on e-commerce, anti-spam laws and AI governance. Attendees will leave with a concise checklist for immediate actions.

Ujjaini Ghosh – Vice President - Legal Division, Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch

Ujjaini Ghosh is a senior legal counsel and data privacy officer with Deutsche Bank in Singapore where she advises on the legal and regulatory aspects of digital payments, flow trade instruments, liquidity and platform solutions  and data protection combining commercial insight with deep cross-border expertise. She began her career in private practice with Herbert Smith Freehills and Linklaters before moving in-house to Deutsche Bank in 2013. She holds a BA LLB (Hons) from NUJS Kolkata and a BCL from the University of Oxford and is an English law qualified solicitor.
