ACC National Capital RegionThe U.S. Department of Justice has placed cybersecurity at the forefront of its enforcement priorities, introducing new initiatives that significantly impact companies and in-house counsel. In this session, our speakers will provide an insider’s view of DOJ’s recently announced Data Security Program, the Civil Cyber-Fraud Initiative, and related efforts aimed at strengthening information security compliance.
Through real-world case studies—including the Georgia Tech enforcement action and others—they will illustrate how DOJ is approaching enforcement, what lessons can be drawn, and how in-house counsel can proactively mitigate risk.
