This program will recap and explain key legal developments for nonprofit organizations in 2024 and highlight what nonprofit organizations can expect in 2025 under the new Trump Administration and Congress.  The panelists will discuss various topics, including:

  • Fundraising regulations, including California’s charitable fundraising platform rules (AB 488)
  • Key court cases
  • Legislative developments affecting the tax-exempt sector
  • 2025 Trump Executive Orders and federal funding developments
