ACC National Capital Region

Government contractors face a complex landscape of employment and labor laws that impact their operations and compliance strategies. In countless ways, the new administration has brought a sea change for contractors. Join us for a comprehensive overview of key employment and labor law issues unique to government contractors. We will explore critical topics, such as the intersection of DEI and the False Claims Act, wage & hour regulations, workplace safety standards, anti-discrimination laws, and compliance with federal contract requirements.

The discussion will include strategies for managing risk, audits, addressing common compliance and customer challenges, and implementing effective HR practices. Attendees will gain valuable insights into recent legal developments, enforcement trends, and best practices for contractors in 2025 and beyond.

Presented by Teresa Wright, Principal at Jackson Lewis, P.C., and Jessica Fegan, Senior Associate General Counsel, Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab.

1.5 Hours of VA MCLE pending.
