What's Next for DEI?
This program will review key provisions of recent Executive Orders restricting DEI programs that are relevant to employers and compare those to the requirements under Title VII and Minnesota’s Human Rights Act. We’ll contrast Students for Fair Admissions with workplace discrimination rules, explain why some employer-based DEI efforts have faced legal challenges, and clarify what makes a DEI program lawful. Updates from the EEOC and new federal enforcement actions will be discussed if available.
