Speakers
Tim Clark, Partner, Piper Alderman
Tim has nearly 25 years’ experience as a lawyer and is the Joint Head of the Melbourne Office. Tim has extensive experience in intellectual property protection and commercialisation, IP disputes and litigation and IT and telecommunications contracts, as well as related data protection and privacy and competition and consumer law issues.
Tim has experience in advising on all aspects of intellectual property protection, its commercialisation and enforcement and disputes. A significant proportion of Tim’s work is in IT, telecommunications, digital health, biotechnology and other high technology industries.
Tim has extensive experience advising IT and telecommunications service providers, as well as government and corporate clients procuring, software, IT services and telecommunications services.
Tim advises clients on data protection and privacy legislation including privacy policies and statements, data collection practices, data sharing arrangements and mandatory data breach notification.
Tim is recognised year on year though various channels including as a Recommended Lawyer for Intellectual Property in The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific since the 2013 edition.
